Is Friendship A Good Foundation for Love?

The best relationships are those that start out as a friendship. It is much different from a relationship that started out with infatuation and desire. If the two of you can get together, have enough in common that you can talk and know what the other is thinking, friendship is a good foundation for love.

what do you think of Jealousy ?

Jealousy can kill any relationships – when you start to accuse your woman that she might communicate with other men it is the road to nowhere. We believe it to be normal to correspond with several persons before real meeting, because in correspondence everything can be fantastic but only real meeting shows if you can have something with this woman or not.

I feel like i was stalk by people

Women stalk men nearly as much as men stalk women. Men stalk more at night and women stalk more by day.
A true stalker can't stand to be ignored.

stalk
Obsessional stalking develops because of the way the couple interacted and the way they broke up. The delusional stalker becomes irrational and fixated on people like movie stars, a public figure, a co-worker or even a former intimate relationship.

Nearly 90% of all college students who break up will engage in what is called "unwanted pursuit behavior". Pursuit behavior includes writing notes, giving gifts, making phone calls, contacting friends, following the person or intruding in their life. This can border and easily cross the line and become an obsession. But actually it is normal it is "relationship repair mechanism.".

Men and women become especially obsessed in a relationship when they experience a double bind. The most powerful double bind is "I love you, go away."

Obsessive pursuit becomes stalking when it becomes scary and it is not mutual pursuit.

Researchers have found that about 1 out of 24 people who are convinced they are being stalked actually aren’t. And about 1 out of 49 people who are being stalked actually don’t believe they are.  It is "false stalking syndrome". Women with false stalking syndrome will go to the police, ministers, friends and others to gain support, friendship and escape from problems in their life.

Women with this condition are typically dramatic, sexually provocative, live chaotic lives, suffer repeated relationship failures, have financial problems and have very dysfunctional histories usually involving drug or alcohol use.  The behavior of false stalking syndrome appears to be limited almost exclusively to women.

The Discipleship Training School is a five month, hands-on Christian training program with a 12 week lecture phase followed by an 8 week outreach phase. The dts provides you with an opportunity to take five months away from the normal pressures and routine of life so you have time to focus entirely on Jesus. The program teaches you how to build an intimate relationship with God, develop personal character, and lead a lifestyle of expressing God's love to others.

The dts is also a great place to make new friends from around the world as you live and learn together in community. We emphasize global awareness while living in a rich, multi-cultural community where we all learn from one another. This cross-cultural environment creates a basis for an intimate and passionate relationship with God so you can boldly go and "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). dts is only the beginning. Once trained, you qualify to apply for many more opportunities with ywam including staff positions and other ywam training programs. Pray about it. Maybe five months with us here in Lausanne is part of God’s exciting plan for your life!

How do you lose friends?

Usually by bad or poor attitudes or behaviours, lack of respect, jealousy, too overbearing or needy, different interests and paths, addiction(s), other friends, family or partners, peer pressure or gossip/rumours, lying, distrust or disloyal, empty promises - just to name a few.

Knowing how to loose friends can helps you keeping your friends...

There are many ways to lose friends and alienate people. The first
way to lose a friend is by refusing to accept responsibility when
you have made a mistake.

Or apologizing when you have made the mistake, but doing so
defensively which isn't an apology at all.

Then there is being a flake. This manifests itself in making plans
and constantly canceling them.

It is fairy easy to alienate people. One of the best methods is by
being aggressively self centered, being the person at the party that
likes to argue- with everyone.

While this is a relatively short list, I know that you all have an some
ideas, based on experience on how to lose friends and alienate people.

Five Reasons I Hate Dating Christians

Generally speaking, Christians are great people in a lot of ways. But sometimes, for some reason, they end up being less Christ-like and more crazy-like. The realm of dating and male-female relationships is one of these areas. It seems that when conversations concerning the opposite sex come into the picture, Christians immediately make things more complicated than they should be and thus bring undue tension, drama, and stress into the picture.

1. Everything is about marriage. You can’t express any kind of interest in anyone without people immediately jumping to the “they’re going to get married” conclusion.

2. There’s always more than meets the eye. There seem to always be ulterior motives. Can we just have fun hanging out and enjoying each other’s company without the pressure of adding titles and timelines to the relationship?

3. You can’t just tell them “no.” Especially if you go to the same church. This is really more for the ladies, but should serve as a warning for the guys.

relationship interrupted

Have you ever had the line go dead while making a phone call? When that happens, you try to reestablish the connection as quickly as possible, so you can continue the conversation.

As you'll see in this short film, our relationship with God has been interrupted much like a dropped call. As the father, in this movie, gives his everything to try and reestablish the connection with his daughter, God, our Heavenly Father, has given everything to reconnect with us.

Why? Because he loves us deeply and unconditionally!

By going through the 5 steps of discovery, following the movie, we invite you to discover, or rediscover, this amazing love!
